Pesticides are identified by their active ingredients, but they also contain so called “inert ingredients” that are not revealed on the label, nor are they even vetted by the EPA.

Mother Jones: Scientists Say Supposedly Miraculous Ingredients in Weed Killers Don’t Actually Work
It looks like the weed control practices of farmers is becoming similar to the overuse of antibiotics. Weed killer is applied, the weeds become resistant to that product and stronger weed killers are needed and on and on. And the people who eat conventionally raised/grown products are eating these toxic chemicals. With antibiotics, patients beg their doctors for antibiotics even though they don’t have a bacterial illness (antibiotics don’t work on viruses), and the more antibiotics are used the more resistant the bacteria becomes and stronger antibiotics are needed. We now have bacteria resistant to antibiotics and people can die from these. I wish our government would just tell Monsanto and others to go….well, you know where.
