   Hi Di,

   I use the Kjaer Weis mascara, which is made with 99.8% organic ingredients. It is not waterproof, but it does not smudge at all.

   According to the EWG rating system, the safest waterproof (completely water-resistant) mascara is the bareMinerals Flawless Definition Waterproof Mascara, which scores 2 on their Skin Deep Cosmetic Database. However, even though the score is pretty low, and it is therefore considered “safe”, it contains a questionable preservative called Phenoxyethanol.

       To answer your question I would need you to give me an exact product name and a link to the page with the ingredients. BTW I just looked up “Clinique Mascara” on Skin Deep and there were no search results.

         So much whitewashing out there. Companies are claiming their products are “clean”, but upon further research, they turn out toxic. Try Ava Anderson Mascara. I researched so many company’s on behalf of my neice who was looking for a new make-up line. This is the only company that seemed to be as non-toxic as possible.

       I think Clinique claims to be unscented, but otherwise has some bad ingredients. It’s been a long time since I used to use some of their products and I remember thinking that all they could really claim is that they are unscented. (They make a perfume!) Have you looked into Ecco Bella? I use their Vitamin E lip saver, but never tried the mascara. Please, take a look and let us ALL know what you find.I would like the same thing as you.

     I love the mascara ~ and I use the best shampoo ever.
     They have a tinted moisturizer that is great to use
     on arms and legs if you don’t tan…..evens skin tone out.
     It is for the face primarily but I don’t use anything on my
     face, but it’s great for other body areas as well.

     They have many specials, and often the greatest gifts !

     The mascara is terrific.

     Also check out L’bri or L’bre ….they also have great products.
