Question from Marie
Looking for a mattress that won’t negatively affect my health at a reasonable price point. For me it would be maximum price with taxes etc. $2000.)
Looking at Avocado but a little firm on standard- with pillow top very heavy.
Lisa’s Answer
There are great options in Debra’s List. Check out Happsy for a very affordable certified organic mattress at a great price point.
Hi Marie, Lisa, and all.
It took me fifteen years to find a healthy and comfortable mattress. MCS and allergies made the process even more challenging. I chose a 100% natural rubber mattress by BerkeleyErgo. The mattress should fit into your budget. The topper would go over the budget. (Latex isn’t for everyone and mattresses are a personal decision, to be sure.)
In case anyone might be interested in avoiding some of the mistakes I made, here’s my story about it. https://www.alonnashaw.com/2019/06/to-latex-or-not-to-latexwhy-is-mattress.html
Marie, best wishes for finding a wonderful and healthy mattress.
