Question from Anne
Hi! Does anyone have suggestions for a good alternative for plastic freezer bags? I’ve tried using cellophane bags, but they tear easily. I also use glass containers in the freezer, but they take a lot of room. Would love a recommenation for a nontoxic freezer bag that is durable.

I would love to get advice on this one. As soon as I buy or make bread, I keep most of it in the freezer and I’ve been using freezer plastic bags but always wonder whether it would leach any chemicals into the food. Please let us know if there are any alternatives.
I myself use plastic freezer bags. They are made from a type of plastic that is not toxic. Whenever I can I put my food in freezer-safe glass storage containers. But occasionally, I just need to use a bag.
