Question from Audrey
First Granny’s went out of business and now Magick Botanicals is out of business. Need fragrance free shampoo and conditioner. Cannot tolerate odor of herbs or flower extracts – has to be totally fragrance free. Carters has olive oil shampoo, but after a while, the smell of the oil got to me and I had to stop using it. Any suggestions?

Debra’s List has a whole section of fragrance free body care products. These are usually not organic, but they qualify here because they have eliminated the very toxic synthetic fragrance. These products have no fragrance of any kind—synthetic or natural. NOTE: Some of these websites sell products with fragrance and without.
Yes, I used Granny’s before they retired. I am happy to say that Magic Botanicals is back in business. https://www.magickbotanicals.net/shop.I had some delivered a few months back. On my search though and I went through N.E.E.D.S. and found a small family business, Carter Soap made in Saginaw Mi, USA.They make bar soap and shampoo using just food grade olive oil.. NO smell at all. They do not make cream rinse.. I use one tablespoon of vinegar in 3 cups of water. Adjust to what you need plenty of ideas on the internet. The shampoo is not PH balanced and if you have color treated hair I add some vinegar to the shampoo and use Ph test strips yo check the ph.
I have been told by Janice’s in Connecticut that Magick Botanicals is out of business and they are looking for fragrance free shampoo, with no luck as of yet. I have called Magick Botanicals almost daily for weeks and it is not their number anymore; it is answered with asking you to answer a survey. The website given above says unknown when I go in to it. I used to be able to use Carter’s olive oil shampoo, but after a while I could not tolerate smelling the olive oil anymore – when one is chemically sensitive , a lot of odors, even natural ones, is intolerable.
