Hi Debra, I have heard about Earthing Sheets – along with a few other Earthing products for home. A Bau Biologist has suggested the use of such, and I am very curious. Now I see Carolina Morning’s Quantum Calming Mat and am curious about your thoughts on these particular items, as well as anyones’ experience with them. Thank you.

I haven’t used either product personally, however I have nothing against them.
I’ve read the entire book Earthing: The Most Important Health Discovery Ever? and totally agree with the need for our bodies to be connected with the Earth’s electromagnetic and other force fields.
The most direct way to do this is to go lie down on the Earth, which I try to do on a regular basis. They recommend 20 minutes a day, I think, I don’t have the book right in front of me.
For me, I always prefer to do something that is as close to nature as possible rather than use an industrial consumer product to do something, which is why I haven’t chosen to use either of these myself.
But, as I said, I have no reason why you shouldn’t use them if you wish.
I know some of you have used these products. Please feel free to write in with your experience.
Thanks Debra, it makes sense to me as well – summer means bare feet and being outside and I know that makes me feel better. There seems to be something to buy for everything – definitely worth taking a pause and thinking before leaping. Sorry, I have to laugh at laying on the ground – I live in Pacific NW and it’s usually damp (I suspect that’s also part of my problem)
Lyme ticks and other vector-borne disease insects can be as tiny as sand grains. Lyme Disease and co-infections are now epidemic across our earth, especially in the subroics and tropics, but really everywhere. There other ways to ground than by exposing one’s entire circle of friends and family to this contagious disease which rarely becomes visibly manifest until it is too late. Also, parasite eggs and larvae can enter right through the sole of the feel and grow inside the body without one’s knowing. Study up! We share our earth with some creatures who would love to make us their dinner, and I’m not just talking Conservatives or Liberals here.
I’ve often wondered about “grounding mats” that can be put on your bed, or that are sold for use in your car to block the EMF’s in the car. I’d love to be able to lie on the ground for 20 min a day, but I think that might create other problems. Where I live, in rural Western Massachusetts, i’d be worried about Lyme Disease.
I think damp is good for the connection. I have the book too but have not finished reading it. My Doctor, an MD, recommended it.
I walk on and then lie in the grass on a softball field behind my home and then I come in and wash my feet and do a alkalizing soak.
I have heard that outside air is much healthier and I try and get out some every day.
I love my earthing sheet. I have arthritis in my feet. The pain would keep me awake most nights. After getting the sheet, the pain has decreased substantianally. I’d say by 95%! I’m convinced. My husband, who is a physician is also sleeping better. I also go barefoot as often as possible and that seems to help as well. I agree, you don’t have to purchase anything, if you can get outdoors and walk in the grass, sand, or even on the concrete. If not, the sheet or the other mats are well worth a try.
I have been sleeping on the earthing sheets/ barefoot connection for several years after my chiropractor recommended it. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE sleeping on it–please read that in flashing red neon. I don’t have the sheet set, I simply stretched one of the small sheets lengthwise over my bottom sheet- it’s hard to explain but the seller can explain that to you, so it isn’t all that expensive. I am not aware that it has healed anything, but generally, if I am not hungry, etc., when I go to bed, I am asleep within seconds. It is also refreshing to lie on it for a quick nap.
Much as I love my computer and my waterpik, my earthing sheets are my absolute must-have favorite. Even if you have access to lying on the grass during the day, it’s even better to have the additional earthing while you sleep.
