Question from SARA
Debra,
As you well know, I have a great amount of respect for your expertise and opinion.
I am on the hunt for new bedding, including a latex mattress, organic cotton sheets, and wool topper & comforter.
I have perused your list of recommended vendors, but I happened across a local company that manufactures latex mattresses, organic cotton sheets, and wool toppers, comforters, and pillows. It just so happens that the company, CozyPure, based in Norfolk, VA is not on your list.
Have you heard of this company and do what is your opinion about the quality?
Their list of certifications include GOTS.

Debra’s Answer
The description looks good, but I can’t speak to the quality as I have no experience with this company.
Readers, anyone know about CozyPure?
I looked at them in our local organic showroom. I was excited about seeing them but they really are pretty much like all the other latex beds nothing overly impressive, comfortable but sort of overpriced compared to others. From my understanding that mattress underground is a site where companies pay them to refer them so I am not sure I would put a lot of merit on that.
I have limited experience with them, but it’s good experience. I’ve done extensive research on latex and wool sleep products, theirs are on the up and up. Quality is there.
I also have them on my ‘short list’ for next purchases in such products, very soon.
There is a website called http://www.mattressunderground.com and they have a good deal of info on Cozy Pure. It is a well reputed company, but you can certainly ask questions.
http://www.mattressunderground.com isn’t there. Are you sure that’s the URL you were looking at?
BTW, here is the link for the website you mentioned (The Mattress Underground) –

I did read good things about the CozyPure products there as well.
Sally,
I am glad to hear that my impressions of them were on point!
