Question from LLB52
Does anyone know where to buy affordable organic towels? Mine are worn out and everywhere I look they are very expensive. Thank you.

I don’t have an answer offhand, but I’ll tell you what I would do to find the least expensive organic towels.
Google has a “shopping” feature where it will tell you prices. Here are the results for organic cotton towels
If this link doesn’t work, just type “organic cotton towels” into google and look for the shopping feature.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and it will let you shop by type ie washcloth, hand towel, bath towel.
I love the organic towels from Lifekind. They are 39 (bath towel) and 41 (bath mat) .Light weight (grerat for travel!) but super absorbant. I’m sold for life!
I see that there are some cheaper ones in Debras great Google search so you may have purchased already.
Just wanted to warn…I once bought some really thick plush organic bath towels that were cheap…(Tumble Twist Brand) and they are horrible…for some reason they do not absorb water at all.

I just bought some from overstock that had the best deal for organic towel sets. they were certified organic and very thick.
I had such a hassle with towels! I got some from Macy’s which was a deal w/coupons, but then didn’t like them. They felt “coated.” Got the Lifekind ones and did not like. Small & rough. Wasted money returning those. Then I got Pottery Barn. Those were much better, but I got half in a brownish color and they developed spots. So I returned thoes for ALL of the towels & washcloths in natural color. I’m happy with them, but it was still pricey. Giam was recommended to me, but was very pricey. If you can wait for a deal from PotteryBarn, that’s probably what I’d recommend. Good luck!
I found some organic coton towels on sale for half-price at Gaiam. My last set came from them. The new set is very nice and I also had a 15% off and free shipping coupon.
Check out Amazon..they have 1888 Mills Organic towels, part of a program with Bill Gates Foundation and Afirca for the cotton and made in the USA. Amazon’s prices can change daily, lately 2 bath towels, 30 X 50 inches are $29.99. They are clean, no residue or odor.
